I have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Havana, Cuba, and a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Math Education from Florida International University. I am in my seventh semester of the Ed.D. program in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. I am all about learning how technology can improve education, not just for my own growth, but so I can share that knowledge with other educators, too. I genuinely believe that tech has the power to make learning more engaging and accessible.
I have been a Miami educator for more than 20 years. As an educator, I aim to leave remarkable memories in the students’ lives so they can succeed in their future endeavors.
Outside of work and studies, I love hitting the beach, traveling, and exploring new cultures with my family. We really enjoy discovering different traditions, trying new foods, and seeing the world from different perspectives. I also try to find time for myself, whether cooking up a new recipe or enjoying some quiet time.
