Evaluating Integration of Technology in the Curriculum
This paper describes my plan to design a learning experience with a higher level of technology integration than I currently use. Using the Technology Integration Matrix (TIM), SAMR, and TPACK frameworks, I evaluate my current practices, compare them to higher-level integration examples, and identify opportunities to enhance technology use in my instructional setting.
Assignment 2
Planning for effective integration of technology in the curriculum
This paper consists of three parts. First, a digital formative assessment tool is selected and evaluated, with a screencast of the tool included in the appendices. Second, a technology-integrated lesson plan is developed using the ASSURE model, incorporating meaningful learning characteristics from the Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) and informed by the findings from the first assignment. Third, the lesson plan is evaluated in collaboration with one peer using designated rubrics, with a completed Peer Review Form submitted and included in the appendices.
